Wow Mark, way to piss on everyone's parade. Did that make you feel smart and all high and mighty? Do you really have nothing better to do than to chew people out on the internet?

Nobody fucking cares, fire rules.

Just what we need: another way for stupid adults and/or misguided kids to set things on fire...third degree burns, death, out of control wildfires causing millions of dollars of property damage, not to mention death and disfigurement to men, women, children and animals.

The things that make fire so fascinating are the same things that make it ruin lives when it's used irresponsibly....it's power, it's intensity, it's ability to take on a life of it's own and resist efforts at human control.

It brings out primitive urges in people. The only problem with that is that if everybody gave free rein to their primitive urges, the world would be even more screwed up than it already is. Fire is a force of nature. Anytime you try to harness a force of nature for your own "amusement" you're courting disaster. It's like trying to keep a wild animal as a pet, thinking you can control it. Then one day, when you least expect it, it turns on you. End of story.

I love your blog... so much cool stuff... however, the constant usage of metacafe videos is annoying. Most of the metacafe videos you post are not even worth watching. Especially the Kip Kay ones. Are you getting a kick back for mentioning his videos or are you secretly tie in with him and share on the producer rewards?

The net has so many cool sites with how to or DIY ideas you don't need metacafe to look cool. Let’s try and do a little more research on the net instead of your old trusty side kick Kip Kay....

Don’t get me wrong I still love your blog....

Some friends and I did this back in high school, except we used Naptha instead of WD40, and didn't bother with the rubber cement - just stick a cotton ball soaked in rubbing alcohol on the end of a wire and rig it up to sit 6" in front of the barrel. That also prevents the flame from backing up into the water gun (as long as you keep the pressure up in the super soaker).

Lots O fun.

That was pretty lame. You could get the same effect with a lighter and some aerosol.

Xidarain, before you call something else stupid you should check yourself. The WD40 would catch on fire yes, but that would only mean that it is burning inside the gun. Dangerous yes, explosive, no.
