Make a homemade USB Vacuum Cleaner for under $2
Published by Cristian February 21st, 2008 in How to.... Tags: home.
Why buying an expensive USB vacuum cleaner when you can build your own? All you need is a USB connector, a fan and other easy to find stuff and you’re done.
If you choose a huge fan you can build a vacuum cleaner for your entire home…or NOT. Just kidding. The gadget looks pretty useful. When you make a mess on your desk just connect your new gizmo and amaze your monitor with a clean desk every day

Great video! Where does the dirt go after the vacuum sucks if up?
I’d assume it flies out the back.
Okay.. it works, and it’s cheap… but it looks like a drunken midget built it.. I wouldn’t want a vacuum that looked so cheap and half-baked.
I’ll buy the expensive one, thanks.
So you discovered the power cords to a usb cord.
Tune in next time when I make a speaker by taking a “sound maker” and putting it inside a box with some holes, power by, YOU GUESSED IT, a USB.
And if you don’t have time for all this hassle, you can get them on eBay all the way from China for about 6 bucks.
