Burn DVD Labels Without a LightScribe Technology
Published by Cristian January 8th, 2008 in How to.... Tags: CD/DVD.
You all have seen those nice pictures burned with the help of LightScribe Technology. But can you burn them if you don’t have this kind of technology?
You can, but there are some limitations regarding labels. What you need is to have Label Flash installed on your computer. You can download it from here. More details in the video.

Windows only from what the website says so that leaves us *nix users out. Also, does anyone know if the lightscribe discs can be used with this software? I did some googling and found lightscribe expects a 780nm wave length laser and flash label indicates 655nm.
Wow, up for a day and the video already got removed.
Don’t rely on gimmicks for you disc labels. Why would anyone want to screw around with slow, monochrome LightScribe technology? 25 minutes for a disc label? Please! My DiscPainter prints full color labels directly on a disc in only 1 minute.
Does anyone know where I can still find this video?
I love your blog… so much cool stuff… however, the constant usage of metacafe videos is annoying. Most of the metacafe videos you post are not even worth watching. Especially the Kip Kay ones. Are you getting a kick back for mentioning his videos or are you secretly tie in with him and share on the producer rewards?
The net has so many cool sites with how to or DIY ideas you don’t need metacafe to look cool. Let’s try and do a little more research on the net instead of your old trusty side kick Kip Kay….
Don’t get me wrong I still love your blog….
