Polish your shoes with a banana
Published by Cristian January 6th, 2008 in How to.... Tags: clothes.
If you ran out of shoe polish and you have a banana this is your lucky day because you can polish your shoes with your yummy banana.
First peel the banana and with the inner lining of the banana skin begin to rub your shoes just like in the video. After you used the banana skin, take a soft cloth and begin to buff them up.
This is not magic, that happens because the natural oils in the banana soak into the leather and help your shoes to last longer. Whilst Potassium is a key ingredient in commercial shoe polish and there is a lot of it in bananas.
