How to increase your cellular phone signal
Published by Cristian December 7th, 2007 in How to.... Tags: signal.
This video will show you how to gain more signal to your cellular phone by making an external antenna and connect it to your phone.
For the most modern phones you wouldn’t find the hole shown in the video on the back of your phone.
In this case you should make the antenna, strip 4cm instead of just 1cm and don’t bend the bottom. Move the antenna on the back and sides of your phone and watch the signal meter.
In a certain place you will see a jump in the signal meter which means that the antenna is over your phone’s internal antenna and it is radiating the signal through the phone’s case.
It’s not as effective as the example in the video but you will gain some more signal strength. Glue the antenna with some duck tape in that spot.
