I became skeptical when I saw that this guy opened up the dsl filter. What was the point of doing so? Anyways, I spent 20 minutes and built one. My answer: It is totally useless! Don't waste your time. It does act somewhat as an antenna but I can do better by simply connecting a coat hanger onto the coax connector on the TV. Does not work.
